Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
I scheduled a free consultation with a law firm, but then caught the swine flu. They called and left me a message asking me to confirm the appointment. I called back to NOT confirm, but to reschedule, and was told that if I did not reschedule the same week I would be charged $150. Can they do that?

Don't worry about having to give money to a law firm that you haven't hired. Forget these guys. They're money-grubbers.
Don't call them again. They won't come after you for the $150.00.
