Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

secured loans

My husband was injured on the job and will not get to go back to work for at least two years. We've got several secured loans that, (even with workers comp.) we are having trouble paying for, is there any thing we can do or someone we can talk to so these loans can get paid?

Re: secured loans

Without insurance on these loans, there is no one to pay them. Maybe the lender would renegotiate the payment terms. Good Luck.

Re: secured loans

No, you need help on secured loans..but what is the security?

We do handle work comp..and if your H is on WC for two years, he should be eligible for SSD...and we would be happy to review his case..

Re: secured loans

Contact the lenders, explain the situation, and see if something can be negotiated to get you through the next two years. Lenders usually would prefer to renegotiate rather than foreclose. But you have to open up the lines of communication.
