Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

If you have settled on an agreed price for a debt with a collection agency, and the debt collector said they will send us a Rule 11 letter, should we consider this Rule 11 letter that the debt collector will send to us stating that our account is closed and settled as agreed AND they CANNOT sue us for the difference in the future?
