Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Signature Loan Back In 1991

I had a signature loan back in 1991. I thought I had paid for it. I never got a call from them. Now I get a call saying that i am being sued for this loan. I have not received any documents about this matter. Can they take me to court after so my years?
