Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
I took out a signature loan. I am almost done, but have not made my last payment in 3 months. Money has gotten really tight and everytime I think I can send some money, something else comes up. I speak with the loan company, who are local, three times a month, if not more. But now they are coming to my home and knocking on my door. Is this legal? Also, I had to list references to apply, can they legally call my friends and family continuously saying that they can't find me, even though I talk to the loan company every other week?

Call a local bankruptcy lawyer...most would write letters and stop the harassment..but without basic protection creditors will continue to harass you...most lawyers will talk to you for free..but protect yourself
