Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I signed up for a magazine promotion when i moved into my apartment over a year ago and later I tried to cancel the magazines and everything that went along with it. They wouldn't let me cancel and are still removing money from my account. Is there something I can do about this?
