Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

can they do this?

i am a co signer on a vehicle purchase and the primary will not make the car notes it is hurting my credit and i can not afford the vehicle i talked to the finance company ''drive financial'' and they said it will hurt my credit and they will garnish my wages i am not worried about my credit but can they really garnish your wages in the state of texas?
