can they do that

okay my sister was trying to get in to beauty school and she was going to give her a diploma the test was 100 dollars but the school never sent in the test to the testing site now were trying to get our money back and they said they wont do it they have to have the stub off a money order which was lost when my purse got stolen.there giving me the run around on things and wont refund my money can they legally do that also is there something i can do

If you have no proof that you paid the money, you may have no recourse.

Beauty schools are licensed by the department of health -- you may want to see if they have a dispute resolution officer.
