Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

My sister recently became very ill and is still requiring skilled nursing facility care. She does not have any benefits (sick leave or annual leave) through her place of employment; she is not able to work cause of her illness. If she is not working, she does not have any financial support from her employer, nor will she be able to keep her health care insurance through her job if she is not working. As her sister, am I financially responsible for any of her care or any of her current bills she has accumulated? I do not have a durable legal power of attorney

No obligation on any one..only health providers have obligation to take the ill as charity..hence some believe we need a national health care system

You do not have any obligation unless you willingly take on the obligation.
