Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Sister state judgment
I have a certified copy of judgement from Pa. I need to know what form(s) to send with it & where to in Tx. to get it filed there. Does it have to be in the county the people live in ?

You need a Congressional or 3-Part Affidavit issued by the PA court clerk. Then you be best off contacting an attorney in the county where the people live to file an Application For Entry Of A Foreign Judgment. That, along with your documents, is filed as a new judgment and will be final 30 days from entry.
Texas was settled by deadbeats from Georgia and Tennessee, and they wrote the laws making Texas a debtor's haven. Collection of a judgment against individuals is almost impossible.
