Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Small business collections
My husband owns a small tire shop and sold tires to a local business customer who has not paid. The amount with late fees are well over $1300. The customer was a net 7 days and has made 4 promises of payment. It has been 3 weeks. We have called and sent statements. What rights do we have and what should we do now to collect our money?

Re: Small business collections
You can sue for the money in Small Claims. Speak with the civil clerks at your local Justice of the Peace about steps for suit.
