sold a car in 2002, buyer did not transfer title. now the toll road authority in houston texas has contacted a law firm in houston to collect fees totaling $541.00 for violations on the toll roads in houston tx that were back in 2004. am I liable for these fines. toll road authority said they sent invoices to my address, which was my previous address. I never received any invoices at my address were I reside now, have been here since 1997. jack

You are probably going to be held liable for the tolls.
If they sue you for the $541.00, or call you into court otherwise, go ahead and fight it.
