Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Statue of limitation

Have just received a hospital bill for $503. The hospital did not file on insurance as requested. This is the first time that I had been notified. The bill is 15 months old. Is there a statue of limitation on sending out notices of services such as this?

Re: Statue of limitation

No. The hospital still shows that you owe the bill. Their billing system is not very good, but you can still ask them to send in your claim to the insurance co. or you can send it in yourself.
