Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

statue limitations

LVNV Funding is suing me on an account that is over 8 years old. I sent them a letter stating the statue of limitations had ran. Today I get a letter in the mail with a court date for July. I can't afford an Attorney right now, so what must I do? Thanks

Re: statue limitations

call us and we will discuss..but you must send your "letter" to the Court or they will get a judgment even if debtis 20 years old..and when you send letter to court sign it before notary..to swear that the account is 8 years old and so forth...but it is not easy to give all you need to do on email..how much money is involved??
