Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

which statute applies?

I understand consumer credit card debt is statute barred after four years in Texas. What if the original agreement originated in a State with a longer statute? Which statute would apply? Can they still sue in Texas after four years? I have been resident in Texas for 3 years
