stolen identity from the ex-husband

my sister in san antonio texas found out her identity was stolen by her ex-husband and his new girlfriend and her family. she called the sapd and filed a report, still the local utilities are demanding and harassing her to clear their debit. my sister is a maid and earns min wage. she is divorced and still having backlash from this, she cannot rent and apt or live a simple life beacuse of this incident. i live in dallas and my ability to help her is limited.

The police report needs to be sent certified mail to every creditor contacting her.

The Texas Attorney General's website has a section on identity theft that has helpful advice for victims in this situation.
