Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Student Loan Dispute

I just received a letter from UT Dallas about how they think I owe money from the 2003 fall semester when I either dropped the courses prior to the cut off or didn't go at all and this is the first time I am hearing about this. Can they even try to do this b/c they did some random internal audit 5 years lateR???

Since they only think, they dont know. For the most part, govenrment backed student loans have no statute of limitations.
