Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

can i be sued in a county I don't live in?

I have been sued in Dallas county court for a consumer debt from a foreign country. I don't live in Dallas county and the contract was not signed there. The creditor is a British bank. Can they sue me in Dallas?

Yes...but you have a defense and need to write the Court or hire a lawyer if the debt is large enough..but you can be sued anywhere...and if you do not defend yourself, the other side will take a judgment and collect..
