I am being sued by a credit card company. What are my options or rights?

You can fight the lawsuit, or try to negotiate a settlement with the creditor's attorney after you make your written answer, or roll over and let them take a default judgment against you. Those are your options.

You can represent yourself in court, or have an attorney represent you. Those are your rights.
