Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Been sued

I have been sued by a friend for $20000 that he loaned me. I have not paid him back. What can he sue me for? I do not have a lot to offer. I have a home with not much equity, bad credit and no savings.

He can get a judgment which can stay with for at least 10 years - maybe more.
