Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Being sued no money to pay amount requested. What can the judge do to me?

You can lose your lawsuit. The winning party can get a judgment.
You cannot go to jail - we don't have debtor's prison in the US.
I hope this answers your question.
If the debt is really old - then the statute of limitations might have run & you don't owe the debt.
You might be ordered to go to mediation before you stand before the Judge. If so, you can offer a payment plan & try to negotiate with the person suing you.
In the State of Texas, many things are exempt from being "attached" and your debtors cannot take them from you -- like your work tools. Most creditors hate Texas because Texas protects its residents from creditors. Creditors cannot garnish your wages so don't agree to that.
