Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Sued in 1998 - Statute of Limitation.

I was sued and the judgment was rendered in 1998. Is there a statute of limitations, if so, how do I remove the judgment?

The statute of limitations applies to the time between when a debt is due and when suit is filed on the debt. Once the suit is filed and a judgment obtained, the statute of limitations does not apply. A judgment is valid for ten years in Texas and may be renewed for another ten years. It continues to accrue interest each year.
