Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I suffer from post traumatic disorder and bipolar mania/depression. Just before my husband filed final divorce papers in Texas I opened credit cards and I lied ion the applications that I was employed when in fact I was disabled. Now I havent kept up with the payments and they are threatening to go after my ex husband, who has done nothing wrong. Can they sue me for my federal disability benefits and is my ex liable for any of this? Please answer quickly.
