Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Summary hearing Judgement

we had a court date 03-05-09 for credit card debt that was sold to collection agency. Their attorneys didn't show in court, the judge told us we could leave and he would notate on file that their attorney was a know show. What does that mean exactly? Will we have to re appear in court at a later date? Or will we be responsible to try and get this finished?

Re: Summary hearing Judgement

if it is small claims, the creditor's attys need to seek rehearing in ten days/if other court they have 30 days...and in either case need a good reason..ie..flat tire/sick...etc..but with cell phones they should have called...so it is not over..
