summary judgement

Had a loan with Beneficial. I now have a summary judgement against me for the account. If I did a 'quick' sale on my home with a private investor, could they take part of this money? I need every penny to get into another house!

Money from the sale of a homestead carries the homestead protection for up to six months. It's protected from attachment.

Just make certain it's not comingled with other non-exempt funds.
