Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Texas Judgement

I have a judgement against me in the State of Texas from an old, old credit card.

This is keeping me from selling a second home before it goes into foreclosure, not my homesteaded home.

The collection agency is unwilling to accept any agreement accept full payment in exchange for a partial release of judgement.

Do I have an recourse?

Re: Texas Judgement

Unfortunately, they have you in that famous, uncomfortable position. They have no reason to negotiate with you, because you cannot do anything without their release. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Good Luck.
