I am a chiropractor, i have a patient that received a settlement check from his insurance company, he was supposed to pay me but kept the check, he now owes me over $1,000.00 and won't pay.

I always give me chiros an LOP. Probably this guy negotiated his own settlement, maybe. Anyway, it is a debt and you can sue him for it in JP court. Good Luck.
