Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Unpaid debt

I recently purchased under my name 3000.00 worth of furniture for my daughter and gave her a discover card in my name. She has refused to pay any of this and says that it all was a gift from myself and my husband. Is there any legal recourse I can take or am I going to have to eat this and learn from my mistake?

You may have to sue her, if it was intended as simply a loan.
