Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Unreimbursed for Company Expenses

I was fired from a company when I repeatedly asked to be reimbursed. They used a Business AMEX card that is in my name to pay for expenses. The unpaid balance is $14,041.10 They also owe $2,500 in unpaid cell phone bills. The phones were used by the owners and the bill explicitly lists the owners names as the users but, the account is under my name The AMEX bill explicitly shows charges related to their business. What recourse do I have? Thank You for your help.

Re: Unreimbursed for Company Expenses

With the AmEx card in your name, you are on the hook for the charges. About the only thing you can do, at this point, is sue your ex-employer for the benefits they've gained without reimbursing you.
