Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

We are a utilities construction company and did not get paid on a job and filed lien paperwork on the property. We received notice of an interpleader filed on behalf of the owner naming us as third party defendant. I understand that we need to answer this notice but I am not sure what I am supposed to answer. Do I need to state what we are owed or are they wanting us to release lien rights? I just not sure what we are supposed to do.

it would be wise to contact a lawyer in that location ..probably small fee to advise you..but from your question..it is hard to see a problem..EXCEPT failing to respond to court papers as defendant will create a problem..and it could be the lawyer could collect whatever fee he charges from the other parties
