Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Can I ask for validation after being sued

Can I send a validation and dispute letter directly to the debt buyer even after being sued by the debt buyer?

They are not on my credit report and this is the first I've heard of them?

And if so, do I send it directly to them or to the attorney

I believe the attorney is also a debt collector for this business since they were asking for payment.

My attorney filed a general denial as my answer. Now I have to provide disclosures and admissions. Is this enough to dispute the debt?

Re: Can I ask for validation after being sued

You are in a lawsuit, and have an attorney. Go with what your attorney says.
