Vehicle debt

I co-signed on a vehicle, and am the primary borrower on the debt. The person driving the vehicle has been late on payments. Do I have the legal right to take the vehicle and take over the payments?

You can utilize self-help repossession as long as there is no breach of the peace. You might want to hire a repo man to do this for you. Costs a little money, but he (they) have done this many more times than you have probably. Good Luck.
