Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Me and my wife purchases a car and after a year or so the companythat we made the contract with sold our loan to another, can they do that? We are not behind and they are local and we make payments to them directly, that was their advertizment. The new company called us and thats how we found out, they tranfered my infomation to some one else.

Yes, they can sell your loan. You will now be making the payments to a different entity.
