Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

wifes credit card abuse

My wife, with out my knowledge, received credit cards in her name and has aquired about 10,000 in debt. The problem is that she continues to pile up debt dispite promises to stop and pay off her debt. I can't stop her. What can I do to protect myself and assets from her actions. Divorce is not an option. I should say about 10 yrs ago she filed bankruptcy after a divorce from her previous husband.

Re: wifes credit card abuse

You could file bankruptcy and get the cards cut off. That would stop them for a year or two.
