Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
I am wondering what process is involved in filing a judgment against someone in Texas. Is it a process of filing paperwork, or is it more involved?

You go to the court of competent jurisdiction (based on the dollar amount) and file a petition, and pay the filing fee. After the defendant is served, he may file an answer. You then set the case for trial and see if you can win in court.
