writ of citation for bad debt

I owe a debt and have contacted a debt management plan service to help me payoff all my unsecured debt, but I failed to do so before this was filed for $2700. My question is ...Is it too late?I have recently been diagnosed with Lupus and sort of let the ball drop when I received a letter stating they would sue. Help

Creditors are always willing to negotiate. It is particularly helpful if you have an attorney negotiate it for you. Check your local bar referral service or the State Bar for an attorney who can help.
