Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

wrongfully sued

i was wrongfully sued almost six years ago. Had a collision with someone else . i gave them the insurance . witch my employer gave me . i was never served. they misspelled my name in the court documents and never tried to collect the debt. they suspended my license witch i use to work with. originally me and the employer were both sued. they told the court that i never even worked for them.. i finally set up a payment plan with the other partys insurance. but i stilll owe them thousands of dollars. im trying to start a new family. and want this injustice to be corrected .. what can i do... what are my options? can i sue them back and even get my money back ? any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Re: wrongfully sued

Unfortunately a lawyer would have cost little or nothing six years ago...and you had insurance...either from employer or personal..but now you may have no remedy. The injustice comes from lack of simple knowledge that lawyers rarely charge to answer questions..but now...???take all the papers to some lawyer...we would want at least a thousand dollars to get involved....Sad story friend..but you are the victim of anti lawyer education.
