someone wrote me a hot check what do i do?

A friend of mine wrote my grandparents a hot check for 800 dollars for a car title, the checking account had insufficient funds and he has been giving me the ''run around'' on how he wants to settle this, he has since then resold the car. What should i do about getting him to pay my grandparents the 800.

Your grandparents should go to the Justice of the Peace nearest to them and file hot check charges.

You could do it if they gave you powers of authority to do so.
