Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i was given 180 days to do on weekends with my 10 year probation sentence out of tarrant county for my felony dwi case. im trying to get 2 for 1 on the jail time and need help finding an attorney who well go back and talk to judge young out of 297 district crt.

when you get time as a condition of probation, you dont get 2 for 1 credit. When a judge orders someone to do a certain amount of time as a condition of probation, the individual ends up doing that time.
This is not the same thing as getting a jail term as punishment without probation. The Sheriff makes the determination of how much credit to give in that situation. Not the same as your situation.
