Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
2 dirty ua's
2 months ago I was placed on probation for possesion of marijuana class c for 1 year. My first drug test was positive for marijuana and my second is as well. I am going to see my probation officer on tuesday, will I be arrested when I walk in her office? I have never been in trouble before and I have done everything she has asked of me. I have spoken to her on the phone about other things and she has not mentioned the drug test to me. I am just afraid I will get arrested for this. Is that possible?

When someone is on probation they have to abide by conditions of probation. If you violate a condition you can have your probation revoked.
Smoking marijuana is a technical violation of your probation and is sufficient for a probation officer to file a motion to revoke your probation.
You need to hire an attorney to represent you if the State moves to revoke your probation.

The terms of your probation are a condition of you not being given the sentence that was awarded to you. If you violate the terms of your probation, then you will probably have a revocation of probation hearing that will open the door for you to get the original punishment that was awarded. You should get a law firm to assist you with this revocation hearing. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).

It is possible.
It is even probable.
Give your lawyer a heads up.
