Re: 7 Felonies

Hello there,

You can forget about Canada. They have very strict laws on who they allow in their country. An individual with a DWI cannot even enter the country.

They have provisions to try and apply for rehabilitation through the Canadian embassy. It is a lengthy process but it never hurts to try.

But if someone has seven felony convictions I do not foresee Canada allowing that individual in the Country.

If you lie to them when going through customs on your declaration form you are going to have a life time ban to enter the country.

Sincerely,

Erick Platten

There is not nearly enough information here to answer the question. It depends upon the charges, the dispositions, and the current probation/parole conditions. Contact the Canadian embassy and an attorney well-versed in criminal defense and immigration law.
