Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I sent $1500 moneygram money order to my mother in AL. one was for $1000 and the other $500. the money orders never reached my mother, they were stolen. The $1000 was cashed but not the other. I got a copy of the cashed money order and the pay to order was alter. I've submitted an affidavit to moneygram which will take up to 6 months to resolve, in the meantime should I make a police report of the stolen money in Tx, where I am or do my mother make a police report in AL? The copy of the money order has a license no of the person who cashed the check but who is to say it's the correct no.

Each of you should file a report in your respective states. Stay on top of Moneygram to get your money back.
