Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
im 18 last month i got caught shopliffting for 22 dollars. the officer told me if i payed the ticket i wouldnt have to go to court. my mom went to pay the ticket they said it was goign to stay on my record and i have to go to court tomorrow. what will they ask? this is taking place in pasadena tx.

Ask for a continuance, and get a lawyer. You need deferred disposition, so that you can get this off of your record. You don't need to have a theft conviction on your record at 18 years of age.
