Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

If I am 18 and as part of my court paperwork they put living with my grandma, do I actually have to be staying with her? Considering im 18, even if it sais on the paperwork that is where i am residing?

Based on what you provided, I can not respond.

However, I would go to court and get a copy of the court custody order and read what the Court order that gave her custody of you has to say.

For example, if the court custody order states that she has custody of you until you graduate from high school or you are 18 years of age or older and you drop out of high school, then you will need to stay with her until one of those conditions are met.

And, again, in this example, if you leave before then, in violation of the court custody order, then, you can be brought back to her by Writ and/or law enforcement, if the person with custody of you so chooses to enforce the order.
