In 1993 I plead quilty to 2 dwi's in texas. How many years untill it drops. Back to 0. Mistameaners don't stay on your recond forever? Like 20 years later can the third one be a felony even though it's been
20 plus years since the last 2??

No criminal cases ever just "drop off" your record--they'll still be showing up after you die. As far as DWIs go, yes, even 20 year old DWIs can now legitimately be used to increase a 3rd DEI to a felony if you have two prior DWI convictions. That did not used to be the case, but the legislature likes to change the rules on that, and the most recent incarnation of the rules allows the State to use ANY prior convictions, no matter how old they are.
