Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

4th degree felony-convicted 2001, served 2yrs. State Jail

Class A misdemeanor-convicted 2005, paid $500 fine.

Misdemeanor Simple Battery- 2008 FL, completed 6mos. probation

I trying to become a Registered Nurse, I have to file a declatory order so the Texas Board of Nursing can review my case. The felony by itself seems like they would look over that since it happened so long ago. The cases after that look bad. I lived in FL last year I got into a fist fight and the man pressed charges against me.

My probation paperwork says that it's suppose to be undisclosed. I did have $600 in court costs that wasn't in the stipulations of my probation. I was able to get ahold of a background check of myself. That charge is on there.

Is the unpaid court costs holding back my undisclosure?

If so do I need a lawyer after I pay the court costs?

Is there anyway I can have my other misdemeanor or felony undisclosed or sealed?

Thank you,

Jesse Davis

If convicted, then can't expunged or file an non-disclosure. Expunction is for dismissals, no-bills, and not guilties. Non-disclosure is for successful completed deferred probations. Non-disclosure will not prevent Texas Board of Nursing from seeing it sicne they are exempt from non-disclosure.
