Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I am a 22 year old high school teacher and had a non-sexual relationship with a 16 year old student, the extent of the relationship consisted of kissing, making out and touching, but no sex of any kind. I was forced to resign from my school, what kind of charges am i looking at? I also provided alchohol on one occasion to the student.

In the first place, you need to stop posting information about your case online. This is not a confidential forum and anything you write could be used against you.
You could be charged with sexual assault of a child if you had any contact with the 16 year old's anus or genitals, or if he/she touched your genitals or anus (2nd degree felony carrying 2-20 years in prison or up to 10 years of probation). You could be charged with indecency with a child if you touched the anus, breasts or genitals of the child or if the child touched your anus, breasts, or genitals (3rd degree felony carrying from 2-10 years in prison or up to 10 years of probation). You could be charged with Improper Relationship between Educator and Student if you had any sexual contact or intercourse with a student (2nd degree felony carrying 2-20 years in prison or up to 10 years of probation).
You need to discuss this matter with a criminal defense attorney ASAP. You should not make any statements to police, investigators, school administration, etc.
