im a 19 year old male in Texas USA and have a small record. i was drunk and hit a girl. she says shes going to press charges. what kind of charge could it be and whats the penalty???

From the facts you describe you could be charged with assualt. It she claims that it hurt when she was hit, then you are looking at a class A misdemeanor, maximum penalty is a year in jail and $4000 fine.
