Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i got 5 years deferred adjud. so i am currently on probation. i am looking to file a motion to get off probation early. ive done 3 years of it already. what steps do i need in order to ge the ball rolling on this..

1) Make sure all of your fees, court costs, fines, and all monies owed are paid up in full.
2) Make sure all of your community service hours and/or classes are completed.
3) Make sure your probation officer agrees with early termination or at least won't oppose it.
4) Get your lawyer to file a motion for early termination, or I guess you could try doing it yourself.
5) Get on the court's docket
6) Show up on court date and ask nicely.
That is the gist of it....
