Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I Accidentally discharged a fireare in my home (TEXAS). My neighbor called the police. I was charged with Charged with a Class A misdameanor. What punishment does that carry?
What advise can you give me concerning this.

Were there any witnesses? Can anybody testify at the trial that YOU fired a gun inside your house? Have you made any statements or confessions to the police?
Take the case to trial and make the state prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt, which they probably can't do ... unless you screwed up by talking to them already.
